Well I took the road at the top of V&T trail to the left up the hill on the suggestion of a fellow mnt biker he said it was great and I needed to try it so being the kind of guy I am I tried it . It was sand straight up the side of the hill for about a 1/2 a mile . Needless to say I walked from the bottom to the top. once I got up there there was only a couple of trails that went no where.
Next Time I will go around up Lake View and come in the top side . Because the downhill was Fun

Rode the West Side trails up on V&T today, coming back I tore my stem and got a major flat. Thank God I have everything I needed in my seat pack to take care of that kind of thing.
While I was changing my tire a fellow MTBr Came by and told me about this trail that was at the top of V&T .I see it every time I get to the top of V&T treail but it looked pretty steep,So I never tried it . This guy said it was great up there . so next ride I will check it out.

Well took a new Trail Friday
Climbed up to the top of Timber Line and took the Dirt rode across the west side above the water towers.. It was great I found a bunch of single tracks coming down off the hill. I just didn't get enough so I took this single track back up .It was petty cool it had dried grass in the bottom of it ,I thought it would be slippery but it was fine going up it and descending . All most ran over a snake. First one I have seen on my rides, so I guess I better keep an eye out for those Rattlers coming into the hotter months. As I passed by this snake I looked for Rattles but didn't see any I think it was a Bull Snake. But they are up there, Rattlers that is.

West Side Ride
As I was pedaling up Ash Canyon Rd to the collage bike path I was passed by a road bike. So I tried to keep up but he keep a speed of around 12 mph and I can't keep that pace up a grade .
Either I need to be in better shape or road bike are just faster and easier to pedal .
Oh well, I think I am in pretty good shape .But I have noticed that my endurance is getting better everyday so I will keep on working on it.
